We install Quantum Porcelain in outdoor kitchens. It handles heat and UV better than any other surface we offer, and it's non-porous, so it resists staining from food, drink and weather. A covered area such as a pergola or awning still gives you the best long-term result.

We use Polytec Alfresco doors and cabinetry made specifically for Australian outdoor conditions. The Compact laminate is moisture resistant and built to cope with humidity, heat and the temperature swings of a Sydney backyard.

Yes. We remove the old benchtop and install a new porcelain surface made to measure. It's a common project on its own, and often the fastest way to lift an alfresco area that's otherwise sound.

Our surfaces handle heat, cold and moisture well. As with any surface, prolonged direct sunlight can cause some fading over many years, so a pergola, awning or roofed alfresco area gives you the best longevity.

Wipe it down with warm soapy water after use. Avoid harsh chemical cleaners, use a chopping board for food preparation, and put a trivet under anything straight off the BBQ to avoid thermal shock.

Yes. We design around whatever appliances you want built in — sinks, bar fridges, kegerators, dishwashers — and coordinate the plumbing and electrical trades so everything is integrated properly.

Often not, particularly where the kitchen sits under an existing roof or pergola and no new structure is being built. Approval is more likely to come into play if your project involves significant plumbing or electrical work, or a new structure. We'll talk through what's involved at your free design visit, and your council is the final word.

It depends on the size of the project and the trades involved. After your design visit we complete a detailed check measure, then your benchtops are custom made before installation begins. You'll get clear dates in your quote rather than a guess.
